The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services for the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it truly is alarmed about the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high amount of website clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The provider point designed for intervention ordeals a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to empower sassa status check the servicing of all buyers and boost access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
